Our Suppliers

Our menu is modern-British with a Mediterranean touch. Our team of chefs are passionate about sourcing only the very best seasonal ingredients and crafting them into delicious moreish dishes.

Paddock Farm Herefordshire beef, fish and shellfish straight from the Cornish Coast, Salt Pig charcuterie and Cacklebean eggs are just some of the hero ingredients celebrated in our kitchen. Everything is made in-house by the brigade, with the exception of our sourdough.

Behind the bar find a well-kept selection of craft ales and local beers as well as expertly mixed cocktails made with spirits. Our carefully curated wine list offers a range of international wines handpicked from our favourite vineyards and producers, available by the glass or bottle. Whether for pairing with food, relaxing fireside with nibbles or heading out to our sunny terrace, we have the perfect tipple for you.

Our Seafood Menu

At the Hare we focus on a fresh seafood menu that changes daily.

Our supplier, Flying Fish Seafoods, was founded by Johnny Godden when he moved to Cornwall to be closer to the source of our beautiful produce after nearly two decades of being in the industry. As a company they care passionately not only about the quality of fish they supply to their customers, but also how responsibly they source the fish. In order to do this, they follow the very highest industry practices to protect the rich and ample stocks we currently enjoy.

About Us

With over 20 years of hospitality experience, Matt & Katie Beamish took over the Kingham Plough in 2019, bringing a passion for great food, inviting accommodation and an innate attention to detail.

In addition to The Plough, The Milton Hare is part of the collection which is situated in the Cotswolds triangle of Burford, Chipping Norton and Stowe and being relaunched with a new menu, this Summer. The Milton Hare will celebrate British seafood, as well as other local ingredients within their menu. Matt and Katie also run the Potted Goose which is a boutique events business catering for weddings, parties and more.
